Job Description:

                                                 ****$1,000 SIGN ON BONUS****

 

                                            1st $500.00: after 30 days of employment

                                           2nd $500.00: after 6 months of employment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Provide transportation, case management and coordination of services for patient.

• Monitor behavioral compliance issues and report concerns and/or noncompliance to the primary counselor and/or Program Manager.

• Assist patients to prepare for and obtain employment and housing whenever appropriate. 

• Provide case management groups.

• Provide standby didactic group services. Provide orientation for new patients.

• Assist patients with community resources to obtain medication when necessary.

• Review No-Show Reports to identify and contact MAT patients who have missed dosing. 

• Plan and coordinate sober leisure activities for all patients.

• Conduct group didactic instruction, and case management support of the primary counselor.

• Attend staff meetings to provide information regarding resident activities, behavior and treatment compliance, and review progress of assigned patients and implements treatment team recommendations.

Number of Position Openings: 1

Schedule: Must work a minimum of 40 hours per week and available for Saturday, opening and closing (if needed).  Standard business hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (can vary as based on needs of patients and schedule). Hours may vary based on program needs of agency and flexibility is required.

Work Location: 120 N. 11th St, Springfield, IL

Pay Rate: Up to $19.23 per hour; based on experience

Start Date: ASAP

 

Experience and Skills:

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field is preferred. CADC preferred. One year of experience in the field of addictions is desired. Work knowledge of chemical dependency, chemical abuse, chemical addiction, 12-step programs, principles of helping, and/or willingness to pursue training.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified by the Illinois Certification Board (ICB, Inc.) as a Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) or as a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) or be certified within one year of employment date.
