Essential Duties: Provide quality customer service, which includes presenting a professional and pleasant manner to potential patients or referring agencies via telephone or in-person. Responsible for coordinating immediate access to treatment for individuals seeking substance abuse and mental health treatment. Functions as the primary contact person for the Immediate Access to Care (IAC) program ensuring a smooth enrollment process for potential patients and other callers. Manages the Immediate Access to Care schedule using the assigned software (Bookings). Promptly communicates important patient information to appropriate staff and IAC team. Communicates effectively and timely with referring agency to obtain all medical records as requested. Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00a - 3:30p) Start Date: ASAP Work Location: 2630 South Wabash Avenue, Chicago Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour Family Guidance Centers, Inc. is a Drug Free Environment (including THC and/or CBD). Experience and Skills: Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required.Associate’s Degree preferred. Two years’ experience in outpatient behavioral health preferred. Individual must possess good communication skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of substance use disorder pathology preferred. Some working knowledge of ASAM clinical guidelines, DHS/SUPR contractual language and deliverable expectations, JCAHO/CARF guidelines, DEA, and CSAT rules, regulations and guidelines is preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CADC or CADC eligible in the State of Illinois. Employee will have up to 2 years from hire date to acquire, dependent on experience.
