Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide timely and quality customer service to staff, clients and guests. To ensure that all toxicology tests; oral swabs, urine specimens are being done correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Providing excellent oral and written customer service to staff, clients and guests.
  • Administering all toxicology tests with clients and entering accurate toxicology information into database.
  • Ensuring that all completed state and private drops are being logged into SAMMS.
  • Ensuring that all completed DCFS drops are being logged in accordance with the DCFS tracking system.
  • Perform accurate USPO, Probation and Pre-trial urine specimens collection and complete paperwork in a timely manner
  • Provide information over the phone, fax or mail, to caseworkers when they call for information about their client.
  • Properly storing all toxicology tests including urine specimens.
  • Packaging and mailing out all toxicology tests including urine specimens as scheduled.
  • All toxicology tests including urine drops must be appropriately and carefully observed.

  • Ability to communicate in English via phone, in writing, and verbally in conversation with different levels of staff patient families, and any outside patients.

Employee must be able to utilize a computer, phone, etc. for extended period of time and write or type notes for at least two (2) to four (4) hours per day.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be occasionally exposed to blood or other body fluids. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
