Job Description:

Comprehensive Management, Inc. (CMI) is a small private for profit management and consulting firm focused on improving performance and productivity while maintaining high quality standards for our not for profit client.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Place product orders for all sites in timely manner.
  • Expedite delivery of the goods to users and obtain packing slips for delivered supplies.
  • Follow up with site to obtain packing slips when not submitted.Obtain POD from vendor for all shipping discrepancies.
  • Contact vendor for return authorizations and credits.
  • Provide tax exempt certificates to FGC vendors and contact vendors for sales tax refunds when applicable.
  • Contact vendor for price quotes for furniture and other specialty orders.
  • Applying for credit terms from new vendors.
  • Request W-9 Form from new vendors.
  • Enter new item numbers into Abila purchasing system.
  • Create new vendors in to Abila software.
  • Maintain vendors in Abila software. Update vendors accounts for changing payees name, address, and contacts information.
  • Receive goods received into PO and upload into Abila AP accounting software.
  • Place and code credit card orders.
  • Assist AP assigned invoice entry and serve as backup to AP accountant position coverage.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Attendance at all assigned meetings including departmental meetings.
  • Understand and translate the company's mission.

Location: 2618 Patriot Blvd

Starting date: ASAP

Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays - 20 hrs

Salary: $16.00 an hour

Experience and Skills:

An associate's degree in accounting or high school diploma and 2 years experience in accounts payable or purchasing. preferred but not required Computer knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, internet, and accounting software required.
