This allows our staff to tailor each student’s program to meet his or her individual needs. ****$1,000 SIGN ON BONUS**** 1st $500.00: after 30 days of employment 2nd $500.00: after 6 months of employment Essential Duties: To assist during arrival and dismissal of students To assist teacher in maintaining classroom and school rules To attend all scheduled meetings To actively participate and give feedback during meetings. To assist teacher with the various tasks: Xeroxing, grading student assignments, documenting behaviors on point sheets, tallying % on point sheets. To participate in weekly planning To assist students both academically and socially To assist teacher when implementing individual, small group and large group lessons To assist teacher in maintaining and upkeep an inventory of classroom materials To assist with planning and chaperone school field trips and level events To assist staff in crisis intervention and physical management To help maintain milieu management when no students are in class To adhere to and support the philosophy of Metro Prep and Laureate Day School To perform duties as assigned by the principal, assistant principal or coordinators Regular School Year Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00a - 3:30p) Summer School Session: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri (8:00a - 12:30p); Wed (8:00a - 3:30p) Start Date: ASAP Work Location: 2525 E.
