Job Description:

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. (FGC), a not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization, treats and prevents substance abuse, as well as an array of other related problems. Since 1969, FGC's comprehensive programming has educated and guided individuals toward their full potential as productive members within their own families and our society.

 

Essential Duties:

  • Develop and execute strategies and action plans within the organization to promote services and site development.
  • Identify strategic growth opportunities and maintain strong community and statewide relationships.
  • Partner with key (federal, state and local) stakeholders to support organizational development strategy and decision-making.
  • Accountable for leading change management for critical projects, embedding change and team effectiveness processes and maximizing readiness and adoption of substance use, mental health and harm reduction transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure that processes and structures in place to deliver FGC program performance outcomes on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic plan.
  • Develop and execute communications to promote organizational development goals and initiatives.
  • Promote a positive work environment and align staff to achieve professional results.
  • Assist in managing project budgets and oversee necessary reports and forecasts, to include internal quarterly process, program forecasting and annual operating plan.
  • Ensure sound business practices, and technical integrity of programs and projects.
  • Coordinate with Senior FGC Leadership (VPs and AVPs) at regular intervals, assisting with project challenges. Oversee the management and mitigation of project risks, in collaboration with site teams.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned organization executives

  

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:30a - 5:00p)

Experience and Skills:

Education and Experience: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Public Policy or related field is required. Minimum of 2 years of progressive behavioral health/public health management experience is also required. Must have working knowledge of SUPR, DEA, CSAT, DMH and Joint Commission contracts, rules, regulations, and guidelines as well as have a working knowledge of other appropriate federal, state and local statues, rules and regulations.
