Essential Duties:                                                                                                                           

• Process patients from assessment to discharge in both medication assisted treatment and drug free treatment programming

• Process medical alerts using SAMMS software and document all services performed in appropriate categories

• Monitors physical well-being of clients and makes notes of specific findings

• Confers with medical doctors on specific medical findings

• Confers with counselors on cases as needed

• Follows up on TB tests and reactive results

• Follows up on recommendations and referrals made in medical visits

• Update client records of prescriptions and other essential medical details

• Ensures safekeeping of methadone and other prescription medications

• Other duties as assigned

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (6:00a - 2:30p) with Saturday rotation (7:30a - 10:00a)

Education and/or Experience:   At least two years' experience in hospital or agency setting  preferred  

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  Valid nursing license and CPR required
