                                                                                                                  1st $1,000.00: after 30 days of employment

                                                                                                                  2nd $1,000.00: after 6 months of employment

Essential Duties: 

• Receive referrals from the Markham Court House and provide assessment, individual, group, family counseling, and case management services.  

• Accept referrals that may include youth, and as needed, provide SUD services to adult clients at the Harvey MAR location.

• Counselor will preferably provide face to face services, but can utilize telehealth as needed. 

• Establish a positive and professional working relationship with the Markham Court House and staff, in order to facilitate referrals in a timely manner.

• Ensure timely and appropriate documentation of services provided to clients.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (40 hrs./wk.) 

Start Date: Spring 2024

Work Location: Markham Courthouse, 16501 Kedzie Ave, Markham

Pay Rate: $36,000 - $46,000; based on experience and certifications

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma / GED required; Experience in/with substance use, detox programs, medication-assisted treatment, behavioral healthcare and/or community relations encouraged to apply. 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: IAODAPCA Certified Alcohol and Other Drugs Counselor (CADC) required, or able to obtain within allotted time of hire date.
